Correlation Between Age and Degenerative Diseases in Kendalkerep Primary Health Care (PHC) Malang

Increasing life expectancy will increase the risk of degenerative diseases such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia and mental-emotional disorders in elderly. This quantitative study aimed to determine correlation between age diseases. The independent variable was Body Mass Index (BMI) dependent variables were blood pressure, sugar cholesterol. population pre-elderly elderly Kendalkerep PHC (8,629 elders). Researchers used 20% a sample (1,769 data collected health screening data. Data collection done through Google Forms. analyzed univariate bivariate BMI incidence hyperglycemia, hypercholesterolemia. test showed that majority respondents (75.7%). 66% female, 65.9% classified obese, 15.1% had moderate hypertension 4.3% severe 13% suffered from 12.8% hypercholesterolemia about 61.2% elders visual impairments.
